ISXEVE Setup: Introduction
Gathering Required Information
Before beginning the setup procedure, you need to know two very important pieces of information:
InnerSpace Installation Directory
To determine the location of your InnerSpace installation, follow these steps:
- Right click on the icon that you use to start InnerSpace and choose "Properties"
- Look at the field labeled 'Start In:'. (If that field does not exist, you can also look in the field labeled 'Target:' as it will also provide the path to the InnerSpace installation directory.)
EVE Online Installation Directory
Your knowledge of the EVE Online installation directory is vital to the ISXEVE setup procedure. Unless you're absolutely sure as to this important piece of information, please follow these steps:
- You will want to right-click on the shortcut that you double-click to start the EVE Launcher. After right-clicking this shortcut, choose "Properties"
- The next window should open with the "Shortcut" tab active. Then, click the button on that screen labeled "Open File Location".
- A Windows Explorer window will pop up with the active directory being your EVE Online installation directory. At this point if you click at the end of the address bar at the top (just to the right of the final directory name), it will change to an actual path. This is the information that you need.
If the above instructions do not work for you (perhaps due to how you're starting the EVE launcher), then all you need to do is find where you originally installed EVE Online. It will be the directory that contains "eve-online.exe", "eve.exe", etc. within it.
