Congratulations!
You've finished the ISXEQ2 installation/setup procedure and are ready to begin your enhanced EverQuest 2 experience!
Important Tips
Before you go, please read through the following list of important things you should know about ISXEQ2
Game Patching
Always launch EverQuest 2 via the InnerSpace system so that it runs EverQuest2.exe instead of EQ2.exe (thereby avoiding the Launchpad.) The reason for this is that each version of ISXEQ2 is designed to work with a specific version of EverQuest2.exe, so if you patch before it's required, you'll not be able to use ISXEQ2.
The best thing to do is never patch until the game refuses to load because of a required patch. At that point, you'll want to patch the game normally using the Launchpad and then wait for Amadeus to release a new version of ISXEQ2.
Patching Best Practices
- Launch EQ2 through InnerSpace (not the Launchpad) whenever possible
- Only patch when the game requires it
- After a required EverQuest 2 patch, ISXEQ2 is typically updated within 12-24 hours. Check Discord for updates
- ISXEQ2 will update automatically once the new version is released. Once a new version is available, it will update itself when you load it.
